"FROM YOUR DOG IN HEAVEN"
> To have loved and then said farewell is better than to never have
loved at
> all...
> For all the times you have stopped and touched my head,
> fed me my favorite treat an returned the love that I so
> unconditionally gave to you...
> For the care you gave me so unselfishly. ..
> For all these things I am grateful and thankful.
> I ask that you not grieve for the loss but rejoice in the fact that
> we lived, loved, and touched each others lives.
> My life was fuller because you were there...
> not as a master/owner, but as my friend.
> Today I am as in my youth.
> The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers, and
the sun
> shines gently down upon all of God's creatures.
> I can run, jump, play and do all the things I did in my youth.
> There is no sickness, no aching joints, no regrets, and no aging.
> We await the arrival of our lifelong companions.. .
> and know that togetherness is forever.
> Companions such as you are so rare and unique.
> Don't hold that love within yourself...
> Give it to another like myself and then I will live forever.
> For love never really dies, and you are loved as sure as we are. |

A Dog's Soul
Every dog must have a soul, somewhere deep inside Where all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride.
Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right, And where his judgment carefully is hidden from our sight. A dog must have a secret place, where every thought abides, A sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly for himself, He cannot speak, Rebuked, He finds within his soul, the comfort he must seek. He'll love, tho'he is unloved, and he'll serve tho'badly used, And one kind word will wipe away the times when he's abused. Altho' his heart may break in two, his love will still be whole, Because God gave to every dog an understanding Soul! Author Unknown
