This is my very FIRST post in here and I just want to say HI 
GLADIATOR is my most FAVORITE MOVIE EVER.
I thought Joaquin's portrayal of COMMODUS was awesome.

Yes, I also loved Gladiator even though I had to be talked into seeing it when it came out. I thought it was going to be some stupid action movie, a la Jean Claude Van Damme. I didn't know Joaquin was in it until the opening credits.  I was very happy that I decided to see it.

Gladfan, you will not have an argument from me about Gladiator. Joaquin's finest performance in my opinion....closely followed by TDF of course!

I have the DVD... yes, it is one of his best. But I like him best in WTL. Its interesting what fans choose as favorites. Its nice to see JP is getting a strong sprinkling of support along all his performances...
Lets see how WOTN and RR land... anxious to go see both.
