Hi everybody,
after having chatted with German Joaquin fans for like a year and a half I thought, I'll give my English a try and chat internationally. 
Ok, something about me...
I'm 27, from Germany, and almost done with studying (8 1/2 weeks to go... Yay!) music and journalism.
Erm, I like reading, making and listening to music (what a surprise! ), travelling and, of course, Joaquin. 
I've been a fan ever since 'Signs', although it just really 'hit' me, when I was watching 'Walk the line'.
So, what can I say? I'm glad to be here!

Welcome Pheebs.
WTL hit me also. I knew who Joaquin Phoenix was and always enjoyed his acting but the Johnny Cash role totally took me in and now I'm stuck and don't want out  .

Pheebs!!
I remember seeing him in Parenthood and I was impressed that such a young kid could be such a talented actor. Of course, it runs in the genes. I also was impressed with his performance in Gladiator, not to mention that it was the first time I saw how sexy he can be that made the movie a bit more interesting.
