Yes Lola!! He was hired because he was already on set. They hired him and Rain (I think) out of convenience(sp?).

I am disappointed ladies. :( His mom called him to tell him the news and he ran out of his trailer screaming, so excited, like "I got the part I got the part!"
Ok, here's another. What practical joke did Mel Gibson play on Joaquin on the set of Signs?

Ooooo...I know this one!
He was locked in the closet during the scene when Merrill watched the news in the closet so the kids are kept from the stress of what was happening. Joaquin claims that Mel was supposed to open the door but instead locked it and left Joaquin inside. Not to be outdone, Joaquin stayed for about 15-30 minutes before getting out and no one was there. Mel claims that Joaquin kept yelling that he was going to call his attorney. 
What sad event happened during the first week of shooting on 'Signs'?

well i know signs is from 2001, but i don't know if 9/11 was too late in the year to have happened during the first week of filming. |

That is correct. 9/11 happened during the first week of filming. They were filming the scene where Graham's wife was killed.
Ok, an easy one: what did Joaquin make for Bryce Dallas Howard during the boot camp for The Village?
