I liked it because I had low expectations going into seeing the movie. I try not to expect much so I don't feel disappointed when I leave the theatre. It is a whack way to view movies but what is worse is to see a movie and feel ripped off when it is over.

YES, I think I expected too much also. I do like it, it's just not (in my opinion) in the league of others I have seen in the same genre.

It's hard to give any film with Joaquin in my full 100% objective review cos I love him so much!!!! So I think I wanted to like it soooo much that in the end I believe I have been overly critical at times.

I still do firmly believe that the film could have been filmed more stylishly, the dialogue could have been smarter and the ending could have been less sentimental. None of which I believe Joaquin had or cared to have any control over. However, it's good entertainment and good viewing (Joaquin wise) and certainly worth watching again.

Yes Karen, maybe we wanted to like it so much, that we are overly critical. Good point. But still, I think it could have been much better. It have a potencial to be much better movie.
