Don't think this has been posted yet if it has sorry. Anywho,this is off of the bands website.Here you go.TI think it's funny.They spell his name wrong LOL Take care
yes yes, you little detectives, you are correct. we shot a video for little lover's so polite in downtown los angeles with jaoquin phoenix in the director's chair.
mark this one down as one of those bizarre things you experience when you are in our business... the business of smiles. why was it so nuts? because each and every one of us stood up in the back of a speeding truck where we played our song at double speed zipping through the streets of LA at 4 in the morn with nothing strapping us down. the whole while, jaoquin screaming "beautiful" which i'm pretty sure he was right. the cherry on the video sunday was the donut truck. this is a stunt truck that is specifically designed to do donuts at 45mph. christopher had a whole drum set strapped down in the back of this thing. i was tied to the chair. it was **** insane and worth the price of admission and will probably only be seen for a second or two. ok, wait... we are now flying over iowa city. i promised myself i would change the subject by then.

Sounds like they are having alot of fun!!! Wish I was there with them, speeding through LA at 4 in the morning!

Here is their Myspace page link  Silversunpickups They performed at the Coachella Fest last month that Joaquin was at with his (wretched cough) gf.
I found out that in the June 16th issue of NME mag, the band is interviewed and they discuss the video shoot:'The video for the new single Little Lover's So Polite, meanwhile was directed by fan of the band - and Hollywood A-lister - Joaquin Phoenix. "We were driving around downtown LA at 3am standing on the back of trucks playing our song superfast, speeding around turning corners and literally risking our lives" explains Brian. "At one point the camera fell off the truck and Joaquin just grabbed it, screaming, 'shoot it! shoot it!'. Those are the moments when you can just stop for a second and go, 'woah, what is happening? where have we gone?' things have changed."
I will try to post the video when it comes out.
