I King Rafael II, by the Grace Instilled in me by God and Country Do hereby declare this act law.
In order to cope with the unfriendly sentiment as of late, and in order to provide and secure any civilty for the good and common welfare of the nation do declare this act legal.
The Upcoming election shall be overseen by The King Personally. Seeing as his body is the only Impartial Body in the Kingdom During an Election season. All persons wishing to vote shall by someway submit to the King in a private message(or other way convinient to the voter) their email for the Registration of Voters. The Failure to register does not stop those individuals from voting, they shall however be forfeit in any post-election polling data studies.
This law shall take effect At Precisely 8:23 Eastern Time, and shall last only until the Election is over.

You Majesty,
Since you have seen fit to make this law and are hereby doing the same as I was doing, that being voter registration whereby citizens must supply an email address, and since this is the very issue in dispute, I hereby resign as your Prime Minister effective upon the date and time stamp on this posting.

I resigned because you decided that I am not to perform the very duties you asked me to perform. You know full well that I asked you for an email list of citizens so I could notify them. You know that you didn’t give such a list. You could have confirmed that I did indeed make that request of you.
You could have replied that it is reasonable to have voter registration and to request an email address since that is exactly what you have done in your “new law”. Instead you chose the route you have taken. If you aren’t going to allow Ministers to do their job and to back your Ministers I do not wish to be your Minister.

I ask that you please reconsider your resignation as you are a good, probably even the best Prime Minister for Devonia and I am truly sorry for all the trouble I have caused. It was not my intention to do so and things clearly got a bit over-heated & a things got said that really shouldn’t have been said.
For the trouble I have caused you and the King, I am truly sorry, I should of carefully consulted both of you before making the post I did regarding the constitutionality of the System of Registration that was in place. It was in lace for a good reason, a reason which I foolishly overlooked and to which I duly apologise fully.
