Citizens of the Kingdom of Devonia,
This is indeed a fine moment in our nation's history as the first widely elected Parliament shall soon be elected within 72 hours. While this road has not always been easy, and has at times been marked with long periods of insignificant inactivity, it is My personal joy and pleasure to see this historic day.
Even though we have come a long way, let us not forget where we have come from. We are but a humble nation now, but tomorrow greatness and grandeur are awaiting Devonia, all Devonia and we have to do is simply reach out and grab the bull by the horns. It is in this hour and order that I designate December 5th of the year 2007, Primus Consultus Day.
I hope that all of you have a sense of accomplishment in your spirits. The Devonian Kingdom has not always been blessed with such wonderful and active citizens; to you goes the glory and honour of this hour. The numerous changes of Prime Minister and the Running of Government had created an atmosphere of instability and one of no hope. Now that we are cementing and forming the traditions of this nation in stone, we will be a beacon of stability, knowledge, peace, hope, wisdom, and community for all to see.
I would Personally Like to thank Mr. Austi Scot, Former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Devonia, and Current Royal Chancellor of the Kingdom, for breathing a new life into the Kingdom of Devonia. Working with him has been a wonderful joy to behold. I would like to thank Mr. Dervin who has never stopped for a moment except for the protection of the common man. Last but not least, Mr.Wright, you are the one who set the demand for an election, and because of you, we are now having one. With the Formation of One Poltical Party(The Devonian Democratic Party; DDP) we may now move forward to cement the Politics of this nation in stone.
I King Rafael Aluveaux II of the Most Noble and Royal house of Aluveaux do thank all of you for your hard work and effort, and I personally would like to wish all the Canidates good luck in the Elections.
