Your Majesty, My Lords, Fellow Members of Parliament and Citizens of this Great Nation,
Today, I speak to you for the first time as your new Prime Minister and I Humbly Thank His Majesty for His Confidence and Trust in me to carry out this Role to the High Standard in which he expects of his Subjects and most especially His Prime Minister.
It is to these High Standards I aim to achieve and to exceed, to bring Devonia into a New Era, an Era of sustained and fruitful growth, an era of activity and debate, an era of Friendship and Happiness among our citizens and our fellow Nations. An Era in which the History books shall note as “The Golden Era”, which we all shall look back upon and say with pride, “I was Part of that Era, I helped build a Nation and it was my Hands upon that chisel which sculpted the future of this Nation.” Together, if we all do our own bit, if we all start chiselling at this Rock of our Nation, which will not be easy or a stroll in the park, but, if we continue to pour our best efforts into this Sculpting of our Nation, then in time, we will create something Beautiful, Lasting and people will gaze upon us with awe, other nations with envy and we will be proud of ourselves. For each and everyone of us are Patriots in the Making and we have a job to do!
In this New Era, I will strive to achieve the following:
1. To increase our Citizens’ Numbers by 150% and more… and y placing apt Immigration Control on Immigration into our Nation.
2. To establish active Ministries of Home and Exterior Affairs and to Re-Organise the Current Ministries, so they may accomplish their duties more efficiently.
3. To clearly illustrate in Law, the Roles and Duties of All Ministers and Their Ministries.
4. To Recommend only Competent Citizens to be appointed as Ministers.
5. To Promote Devonia more efficiently, by placing more advertisements on the Internet and more promotion of Devonia throughout the Internet. In addition to placing more information about Devonia on the Website.
6. To join Inter-Micronational Organisations such a LoSS, UNAM and others which Devonia fits the criteria for joining. Thus Promoting us on all scenes.
7. To have a Fully Functioning Parliament before the end of my term and to establish Election Law and the Foundations of Political Parties in our Nation.
8. To Undertake Several Constitutional Reforms and Amendments in order to give the Citizens more Rights and to better the Quality of Life in the Nation.
9. To Aid Citizens in the Establishment of Non-State Organizations and Societies.
10. To Establish a Flag for the Kingdom and Lay the Foundations of Several State Organizations.
These are my 10 Promises, my 10 Commandments over my coming terms, in which I will endeavour to uphold and complete before the end of my term. I also, encourage all Citizens to, as soon as possible, to write up their own 10 Commandments and join me in Building the Kingdom a Better Future!
