I was sitting here wondering - what kind of work is it that each of do?
I'm a tech - telephone tech to more precise. I work on large telephone systems for businesses. Sometimes I design the system, call flow, etc. and sometimes I input the translations. Other times I do the actual physical installation of the equipment and punch down the cross-connect filed/connect the patch panels. Still at other times I do the maintenance checks and trouble shoots when alarms happen or something goes out of service. I also do the on going moves adds and changes to the system.
What is it that you guys do? |

Wow - I like that.
I'm very interested in economics. The company I'm going to work for in Omaha next week is an investment company. I'm not a financial advisor but they had me do the paperwork to get the license.
I'll really be one of their telephone techs.
I have a brother who is a lawyer in Michigan. He's just now getting into being a financial advisor of some sort. I was talking with him a week or so ago and he's getting his license.
Where are you a student?

I am a Lawyer for a London Based Law Firm, I generally represent Civil and Criminal Cases in the Courts in addittion to Family Court Cases. So I am a Jack of All Trades here in the Law Business.

Hi all, it's quite interesting to see what everyone's doing!
I'm a secondary school student (British equivalent of high school), and at the moment I'm thinking of studying Statistics at university when I leave school, or possibly a joint course in Mathematics & Statistics, which some unis offer. A joint course might be better, as it would allow for a wider range of career paths, althought some university websites I've seen say there are plenty of opportunities in Statistics at the moment.
