As of Today, due to the inactivity of Our Prime Minister, I am hereby Assuming the Position of Acting Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Devonia and I will be carrying out the duties of the Prime Minister.
Therefore, I am hereby, Officially setting the Election Date for the Parliament as the 5th of December 2007.
The Following are the Deadlines for this Election:
1. Deadline for registration of Parties - the 30th November 2007. To register a Party, you must submit a Party Registration Form, which consists of :
(a) The Party’s Name
(b) The Party’s Members
(c) The Goal and Policy of the Party
(d) A Election Statement of what the Party would do if Elected
2. 3rd of December, Deadline for the Registration of Candidates for Election to the Parliament, by their Party or as Independent on their own.
3. 4th December - Deadline for the Change of Mind, E.G if you don’t want to run in the Election Anymore, or you have registered and wish to change what you are running for or your Party (No Un-Registered Persons May Apply)
4. 6th December, Polls Close and the Results shall be posted on the Forum.
I am hereby setting up the Royal Election Commission, with myself ad the Head of the Commission, this Commission will be responsible for the Correct and Proper running of the Election and to ensure fairness and equality in this Election. Further Members may be appointed by the Crown.

I agree that it's about time we got this election moving. Do you have the King's approval to be Acting Prime Minister? Also, if the King does agree and we go along with this plan, would independent candidates need to produce an Election statement? I'd write a manifesto anyway, of course, but would I also need an official statement? _________________ Christopher Wright MP

Why not just start a new Party _________________ His Royal Majesty King Rafael II of the House of Aluveaux. Consul of Etampes, Prince of Arretium, Prince of Apulia, The Duke of Calabria, The Duke of Devon, The Duke of Lavinium, and The Duke of York.
Now, let's look at that election plan - perhaps it is a good one.
I shall see and if I agree we can use the schedule. If I don't agree I shall set another schedule.
