Okay, I know there are only two of us here, but it might make the NA and NB owners feel good.
I installed my Fujita Competition Intake system today. Glad I had set aside a couple of hours, because it took three. I had to remove the whole front bumper (6 bolts, and about 50 little plastic clips), headlights, and had to saw off a piece of non-functional plastic. Have to admit I'll know what it will look like if I ever wreck it...wires hanging, frame hanging out, headlights straying at strange angles....
But when all was said and done, along with an oil change (still can't get the damn filter off after 15000), it is dangerous!!! At 2500, it has a sound that I cannot compare....And it is so quick to wind up, I am going to get in trouble. I took it for a drive, and kept downshifting just to hear it. And that was with the top down.
I guess this makes me the resident expert on NC mods. I'm kind of afraid to do more, unless we can figure out how to get some track time. I really want to let this monster loose. Exhaust comes next. Heaven forbid they make a turbo for this thing. I'll buy it the day after and get it installed instantly. probably see 230 at the wheels, which would probably be scary.... _________________ Todd

As soon as I get my digital camera functioning again, I'll have pics. Sounds really wicked at 2500 though. Exhaust comes next!!
Engine bay looks a little silly missing that huge air box. Wish there was a way to dress it up. _________________ Todd
