to be honest, I've never been a big fan of their knobs.  The metal ones get too hot during the summer, too cold in the winter.  I prefer the OE Nardi shift knobs (pistol grip style).  The ball-shaped knobs feel awkward for me.

True about the hot/ cold. Ive had the metal knob for so long, and worked on cars for so long, my palms are leather like so I dont notice.
