anyone?????
My setup is an ever evolving project, It's all torn apart right now actually, just waiting to get the manifold back from Kunkels (they're resurfacing the flange), and the downpipe back from Agile (Hill is cleaning up someone else's crappy welds), and I'll be back together and running again! _________________ Resident smart guy

I have bad luck with FI. My old 99 went down, actually AFTER I removed the SC. Lost oil constantly, didnt leak, didnt burn. Just, vanished. The SVT Focus, blew the motor, built the motor, then got an offer and sold it, the 88 GTX, went mod crazy; 19psi, blew is CRUSHING an Infinity G35. Rebuilt, then sold it.
"Destiny" is going to stay stock....at least for a few years. Once I'm established at the post office, I'll play. _________________ Russ Rudez

FI is fun. Its not hard to make it work safely especially on a miata. The stock motor will take 10psi forever with some good tuning. _________________ http://www.cardomain.com/profile/rideatmidknight

Mine came stock with FI =)
I was going to install a Flyin Miata kit on my 97 but I decided I'd rather have an NB chassis. I just happen to run into the MSM by chance coming back from lunch break and ended up buying it the next day. It was a spur of the moment thing. _________________ 04 MSM // 97 MX5 |

I always liked the JRSC on Miatas. Not too much effort to install, not a huge power gain, just enough to make it fun once the initial fun starts to wear. I may do a JRSC....after im at the PO for a while and I have a house. Once the wife has all of her things she wants, I get to spend money on me. _________________ Russ Rudez

2003 Miata LS
Hey guys, here's my plans (already purchased, waiting for shipment and to install):
BEGI S5 w/ GT3071
Worked FM Head, ported polished, may be upgrading the springs
3" exhaust from Agile Auto
Aquamist Hydramist
Hard Dog Hard Core Double Diagonal
Dual EGT gauge
Already Installed:
FM Flywheel (9 lb)
ACT xtreme clutch (350lb rated I think)
KYB AGX
FM Sways
FM Springs (shoulda bought ground control adjustables )
BTW hey guys, if you are planning to FI, you can take your car to MD emissions at any time without having to wait until you get your notice!!! I won't be due until October but I'm going to take it the day before I install that way I won't have to do the injector swap/voodoo swap etc in October.
FYI my aol screen name is: pluffleses |

I'm about 50 minutes away. What's the open house? I have some stuff to do later this saturday (my band's playing a show in Gaithersburg if anyone wants to go-- rock music) but it sounds interesting. |
