Wild Race At Lowes Leaves Drivers Angry And One Hospitalized
What an upset this race was, with only four laps to go,
everything got clustered in the front. The #34 of Dylan Baadte
got caught up in the lead going 20 mph slower. Through the
tri-oval, Nick Baker in the #91 and Steven Johnson in the #51 cut
through the grass to avoid a potential wreck. What they didn't
know is that they would be the ones causing the wreck. Coming
out of turn one, Nick baker got sidways on the apron and
slid up the track taking out multiple drivers, including his
teammate Bill Krummel. The #48 of Matt Peyton got
slammed in the drivers side by Mike Johnson, causing him
to go to the local hospital. No SERIOUS injuries though.
"It wouldn't have started if these damn lapped cars didn't
get in the way" - Nick baker. He is obviously frustrated.
Dave Bennett was the surprise winner of the race,
bringing home the thrid consecutive win for Bennett Motorsports
results will be posted soon
