first off let me say that i am hardcore nr2003 all the way it's what got me started into sim racing and it's where i will probably paint my last cars ( and i hope they will be at johnson designs as well )....anyway. so after messign with Rfactor, GTR2 and some others that where just utter crap i have realized a few things now i am not a modder track maker or anythign like that i am a so-so painter at best. i am happy at this level i'll alyways have somethign to shoot for a place to be better at.....a goal to shoot for reaching for the likes of deadpool and tucknut just to name a few

ok on to the thigns i realized ( i get sidetracked sorry ) nr2003 is the easiest game to paint for simply import and voila it's done add some detail to the info back zip up and ship to the internet

rfactor is a real pain in muh A$$ to paint for requiring about four files to make a car the paint file in dds format a text file regarding team info another file that i know jack crap about and then a driver file in which all the ratings are kept

gtr2 is half decent to paint for requiring a just a dds file if a rember right but the file format for this dds file is weird and confusing for noobs

from a gamepalying stand point nascar is limited in what you can do although other mods have been made it will ultimatly never be anything more than a stock car racing game, but i love stock racing and i love this game for the rest of my life

rfactor although complicated is probably the best platform i have ever seen and the ends of the game really know no bounds there is just about everythign you can want from go-karts to off-road score trucks it is really only limited to what painters modders and tracks makers can do. speakign of tracks makers there is program that rdeuces the time to make a track down to just hours rather than days. and if i had a better video card and a half decent wheel i be i nthe game more

gtr2 can be no more than a touring endurance racing game i do like it but the game really requires a wheel to paly properly. i haven'y palyed this game since the days of Team vice city

so all in all waht does this mean or why should you care? it matters not and you shouldn't care it's just my two cents and things and the way i feel about each of them. i do plan at some point try race07 and seeing waht it's worth

so that's my two cents and i'd like to know yours as well
