Well, I'll be 25 in 4 weeks, lol. I've been painting longer than just about everyone here, combined, lol. Been painting for 7 years now.
Like they said, practice goes a long way, and you've gotten a ton better in a short time.
Since you use PSP, which is what I use here is a hint/helper for smooth edges. I don't know if you've previously noticed, but when you use the lasso, with Anti-Aliasing turned on, use the automatic connection as a cut edge. For instance, make a "C" on the flat with the lasso tool, when you let off the mouse, it will automatically be made a "D", the line is the "D" is the automatic connection line. It makes perfect lines and works perfectly on curves. It does take practice though to do the curves. |
