I apologize for the absence everyone. My dad had an Aunt pass away last Monday, so we had to take a ten hour trip to where he is originally from for the funeral. The service itself took a very long time. It was a deep south, Southern Baptist ceremony that took 5 hours in its own. We then went to the cemetery where we spent another 3 hours. We did not go to one of the other services, but they said it took 4 hours respectively.
We stayed in a house that the renter called a cabin. It was actually the house that her dad had lived in before he passed. A three bedroom house in the mountains with a pretty nice view and about 300,000 locusts in the tree tops nearby.
One of my dads uncles lived right up the mountain from us and told us the story of how the house became empty. Now the home owner failed to mention this to us, for obvious reasons, but her father had actually taken his own life in the kitchen. He was getting ready to go to dinner one day and pulled the trigger. He had just bought a new truck and from what we understand, he didn't want to pay for it, therefore, he took his own life. My mom was a little antsy the first night, but we never saw or heard anything suspicious. All though the reason for our trip was less than a happy venture, all in all, we had a decent time.
I painted a car also before we left, I will post a picture of it in the Presentation folder.

Thanks guys, nice to be back. The time off work was great, but if I ever have to go without my computer again, I think I'm going to flip out, lol.
