nick baker actually caught fire at the start finish line, luckily he pulled over reliativl quickly and the fire was contained

david coulthard and ian kind showed the best battle till daivd lost the gear box

ina went on for several laps til he too sufferd a gear box issue

the issue has been tracked down to the wrong tire providing more grip than what was requested for this track

this track will still not be included in the season

track owners and cars owners are looking for monetary damegs from the tire comapny

christopher mennie car owner and car driver was noted as saying " those tire guys better watch out before they find the leftovers from my busted gear box in there bed "

dylan baadte was reprorted as saying " tracks officals said we need this kinda tire, tire guys bring us this kinda tire.........who the F**K is gonna tell my sponsers, whoops my bad.....that ain't gonna fly"

nick baker was reported afrter the fire " i just wanted to a victory lap........i know it was just a practice session but i whooped them other guys even it it was just luck"

more details to come on the tense situatuion all team are looking fowards to going to baharian next week

the tire company is saying nothing

the cars where quickly sent to sepang to make up for the horrible paractice session at grand valley

nathan andrews brakes blew up early on in the shortend session

david coluthard blew a rear tire while finishing his last lap he is ok

nick baker struggled through the whole session still suffering with his back injured from the fire at grand valley

johnathan flourney had a scary moment when he went backwards through a sand trap at the time, he is stable but comes and goes out of consiness asking he got em or not

chrispoher mennie powered through the finish the session in the lead

it was a good practice and the tires held better this time
