To get the syn icons into our profiles, I'll have to make separate graphics for every combination of syntypes. There are eight different icons that Lisa had for the profiles:
concept
emotion
personality
sight
smell
sound
taste
touch
in that order. There are probably several hundred different permutations I'd need to make to cover all possible combos of those for our site (eight factorial is 40,320, but that doesn't apply here [I can explain why if anybody wants or needs, but I encourage you to try to figure it out for yourself -- always try to keep your brains nimble!  ]), and obviously I don't want to have to figure out and make those several hundred all at once. Also, a record of who needs which graphic would be immensely useful and helpful to me.
So I need you to tell me which syntypes you have of those above. Please put it in the following format:
Kela:
concept
sight
smell
sound
touch
In other words, bold your username and then list the types you have according to the order listed above, skipping whatever types you don't have. This will help me immensely when making and assigning the graphics/groups to everybody, as I have to set everybody's group one by one, by hand, and I'll have to keep very good track of which group is which (since they'll all be titled 'synesthete').
Please post your syntypes as soon as possible, but understand that the icons won't be in anyone's profiles until next week at the earliest.
If you have questions about what syn responses fall under which type of icon, you can ask them here -- and everybody please feel free to answer other members' questions if you know the answer.

Check the specific synesthesiae folders for the different types of syn. There are brief descriptions of each type and what falls under them -- a lot of things fall under sight->syn, for example.
Concept syn (represented by  ) is any type of syn where a concept is the stimulus. Time syn is one example. Also a lot of people here see "lines" (not necessarily straight lines) evoked by concepts like CD tracks, the presidents of the United States, countdowns, radio stations, etc. That type of thing. Does that make sense, I hope?  Any other questions, or if something's not clear, please ask. |

Don't worry if you're not sure. I can change anybody at any time, like if they discover they have a type they didn't realize they had before. ('Cause that never happens around here, right? ) One note though - the icon for your pain syn will show up as  , because pain is a subset of touch. |

Okay. Everybody who listed their syntypes here now has them in their profiles.
Please double-check your icons to make sure I got them right, and leave me a note here in this thread if they're wrong. (Edit -- I just took a closer look at them, and some of them aren't as flush left as I'd like. *grumble at self* I'll fix that tomorrow and put up another post when I'm done, again reminding everybody to double-check my work.)
If you DO want syn icons in your profile, please post here, following the directions in the first post. If you don't post here, I'll assume you don't want them.
