Jazzgirl - yes, days of the week is time syn, which is a kind of concept syn. And letters and numbers having colours is grapheme syn, which is a kind of sight syn, so you can add 'sight' to the list of syntypes you have.

What Fogwolf said.  big smile

Your syntypes are up, JazzGirl -- I added sight -> syn in there for you since you definitely have sight syn. I also kept in everything you listed even if you said you weren't sure if you had it -- I can change icons anytime if people discover they have new syntypes or whatever. (Discovering new syntypes happens a lot around here...I just discovered one a day or two ago [another subset of  sight -> syn for me so I didn't have to change anything], and it's so much fun when that happens. cool )

So look your new icons over and drop me a post here if you need or want any changes to those, or if you have any questions.

Okay, I will!

For the sight syn. do you have to "see" the color? I don't really see the color most of the time, I "feel" it in my mind.

That's definitely still syn. Actually seeing the colour in front of you is referred to as projected syn, but what you describe is known as associative syn. Both are valid forms of synaesthesia.  smile

And I have a question - you know those things in amusement parks where you are risen up somewhere and then fall about 50 meters? There's that brief moment before the fall where you just kind of hover and that's a blueish feel in my guts - I'm just not sure if it's touch or emotion syn hmm/suspicious What would you say?

Kjesta - it would depend on whether the feeling in your stomach caused the colour, or the nervousness/anxiety/fear/excitement itself did. Of course, it's probably hard to tell which it was?

beth, I'll edit those for you today.
Kjesta - I'll get you set up today too.

Thanks for your patience, everybody -- we only just got our internet fixed today after a solid week of it being down. eyeroll

And for your roller coaster question...like Fogwolf said, it's hard to narrow down the stimulus. Another possibility is that the stimulus could be both together -- it's the touch -> syn and emotion -> syn combination that evokes the bluish. Probably not likely, but it's on the list of possibilities.  smile

Thanks Kela! And don't worry about it - you can't help technical problems most of the time.
