I am so happy to have found this web site! I just discovered that I have syn. I was talking to my Husband about colored my colored numbers. He said he had no idea what I was talking about, of course!
I asked my mom if she knew what was going on with me. She said she read a book called A mango shaped space and it sounded like me. I read it in a day and was shocked.
Since then I've been reading everything I can get my hands on. 
This really explains so much about my childhood. I never understood math. I always though I was just stupid, which felt horrible.
I also have colored letters and names. Some music also has color. I love jazz music. It's so red and soothing.
I really love red. My husbands personality and name are also red! Funny hun? Maybe I married him for his red name. Ha ha.

Hi JazzGirl, welcome!  I was that way when I first discovered syn -- I read everything I could. Actually I still am that way..  If you haven't yet, be sure to check out all the good syn info in the topmost folder here. My personal favorite is the list of concievable types.

As Kela said, we love to talk about syn, no matter what kind. Don't be afraid to jump in and ask questions, either. These guys are amazing and I'm sure someone can answer them, no matter what they are.

Well, Jazz tends to be more of a deep wine color really. With traces of bright yellowish gold and deep blues and greens. But mostly deep wine. [/quote] |

I really don't believe you've heard of him, but I actually meant he's red as a person. Syd Barrett. Syd plays deep blue and golden mostly, and there are reds too, but his music is not jazz at all, so maybe it won't be red to you. Red is one of my favourite colours. |
