I've never really thought of myself as having emotional syn. , but none the less, I've been having some strange "pings" of light in my field of vision. They look like a flashbulb going off, and only last a moment. They do not really disturb my life or activites other than being a bit abnormal. I've noticed they tend to happen at work when it is busy and I'm stressed. They are the size of a small marble and are white with sparky edges.
So what do you guys think? Does it sound like Syn. ?
That's a tricky one, since it could also be a physical thing, an optical effect. However it doesn't sound like the "floaters" some people have. Do you wear contacts or glasses?
If it's not a physical optical thing, you'd have to be more sure of the stimulus and of how consistent it is. How long have you noticed the little pings? Do they seem consistent, in both the stimulus (is it only work-stress, or is it other times? other types of stress?) and the response (are they always the same size, in the same place in your vision, etc.)?
