Here's the New Nexus, a brand-new forum for us to use as we would the original Nexus. It'll take me some time to fix it up, and it will never equal the first and best, but everybody everywhere should be able to view it and post in it.
And sorry about the ads...necessary evil since it's a free site. Just ignore them, don't click on them.
Anyway.
Important information:
1. The same rules as the original Nexus apply here at the New Nexus. These boards will be run in the spirit Lisa intended -- firstly as a friendly, relaxed place to learn about and discuss synesthesia, and secondly as a friendly, relaxed place to socialize.
2. I'm still fiddling with things, including posting options. I'm trying to get everything as close to the original Nexus as possible -- which means no signatures, no non-default fonts or sizes or colors. As you can see, the font settings are still enabled (can't find the controls for those yet), so please refrain from posting in non-default fonts, sizes and colors. Any posts or part of posts made in non-default text options will be edited to make them default, out of respect for Lisa's original wishes and her vision of the nexus.
3. Fogwolf and Emma are the mods at the NN (don't mind 'test', she's temporary ), and Kela is the admin. That 'admin' is just a label though. All three of us are still the same team we were at the original Nexus. Whenever we go back to the original Nexus, Lisa will again be the admin and Kela will again be a mod (at least that's what I'm assuming will happen).
4. I managed to get an Albums feature. It doesn't work the way the old Albums did -- I think these ones are for each user's personal profile -- but you should be able to upload images (syn-related or personal, as you wish) if you want.
