I agree with nik but for different reasons. What you should not do is GM with more experienced and older players. Some of the reasons include: your mistakes might be pointed out to you far too often and you will get frustrated, loosing the fun for yourself and loosing the interest of the players; the players will more likely see through your plots and story lines, spoiling the game for them; The difference in age in this case between the players and the GM will cause stress because we have different expectations, different goals, and (biologically speaking) the difference in how we think. Running a game with your peers or others of similar experience is the best teaching model for all involved and it keeps the game exciting and fresh for the players and GM alike.
