Axion steps forward. "I am indeed Axion, and I also have no title. Events and circumstances are as this Wizard said. I come looking for a powerful and Epic hero to help bring my people out of a world filled with death and destruction. Mikal certainly fits that bill and he is indeed the one I came to for assistance with my people's fate. But he was taken before my very eyes while I was helpless to act, beaten down by this powerful foe. If not for Agrabaeus' appearance at the scene, I would likely have perished in that encounter.

Tell us, Third Arcane of the Silver Robes, other than providing you and your fellow Arcanists with assistance, was our journey here for naught?"

Taralin quaffs a pair of the potions. His body heals itself, and new life is pumped into the wizard. He listen to the pair of you speak, his eyes widen at the mention of Mikal, and that he has been taken. "Mikal is gone?" the wizard asks, but he waits for no reply before continuing. "That must be why they came here. We received a letter from Mikal a week ago. It stated the warforged had been called to arms. Mikal rarely practices the arts anymore, for he fears someone. That is why he does not live here anymore, Mikal is First Arcane of the Silver Robes. If he is gone, the warforged may destroy every city on the continent. This is much worse than I thought. There is no one to rival Mikal's powers, and someone took him." Taralin places his head in his hands, dejected.

He looks at the warforged, "I do not know if your journey is for naught, but the orcs may have clues on them. Why did you not make the call to arms? How do you not know who created you?"

If Axion's eyes could widen, they would. His face does give what expression of surprise it is allowed and he gives a slight clicking sound. "I was not made on this world but within the forges of creation on another. Are you saying that this Arch Enemy of Mikal's, his kidnapper, is the very one who created the Warforged on this world? That certainly makes sense given his reaction to my presence, as well as his words about my failure to heed the call to arms...and his personal desire to punish me for my apparent failure."

Some of the clues were coming together for Agrabaeus. He was advised by the Lady Saharel to seek out the creator of the Warforged on this world and he seems to now be on that very trail. He anxiously awaits an affirmative answer to Axion's question.

OOC: What does Axion know about Forges of Creation and their likely location? Natural volcanoes? Places of immense magical power? The cores of planets?

Taralin looks at Axion, "We know not the truth, but Mikal believes his enemy did create the warforged. Mikal was this man's pupil. He learned everything from him, but Mikal did not crave power. Mikal never uttered his name, and only referred to him as Teacher. Teacher found a way to extend his life and even create life. Mikal believes Teacher is no longer mortal, but some sort of demi-god. I know little of Teacher. Mikal would not tell much, and hoped Teacher would never use his power over the warforged to attack. He believed Teacher wanted magical power, never ending power, not world dominance. That is why Mikal hid from Teacher. Mikal believe Teacher could take his powers from him, and become more powerful."

OOC: Axion's Creation Forge is deep below Sharn in the Mournlands of Eberron. However, Axion actually knows very little about the requirements of having a forge. The size is very large, and natural heat from a volcano would help, however magical heat will work as well. Magical powers are needed, of course.

Agrabaeus shakes his head slowly and takes a seat on the edge of the now-closed chest. "How can we possibly defeat one of such power? And if not defeat him, how can we possibly find Mikal and rescue him from the man's clutches. We must continue our search for clues and, as you say, we will begin with the Orcs. While we are gone, if you can, try to think of anything or any way to aid us in our quest."

Turning to Axion he says "Let us continue our search, friend." To Taralin he adds "We will be back after our search." He then heads out the door and down the stairs.

Axion Agathoron nods gravely. "Yes, let us continue our search." He asks one more question of the Second Arcane of the Silver Robes before he follows Agrabaeus. "Did Mikal have a private chamber within this keep? And if so, how do we gain entrance to search it for clues and tools to help us?"

Mentally slapping himself for not asking this most obvious and basic of questions, Agrabaeus pauses at the stairs for the answer.

Taralin nods to the pair, "Yes, Mikal has a chamber. Go back down the stairs, go all the way down the hall, and up the next set of stairs. His chamber is there, though I have no idea what is in there."
