Number 1 being the lowest level; but first to be awarded. 1) [Members award] The ribbon awarded for all members once they achieve a post count of 25 or more posts. *NOTE* No other award will be presented to ANYONE that has not posted at least 25 posts and been presented their members award 1A) [Top Poster award] Members who post consistently throughout the month can earn this award. 1B [Special service award] To be awarded at the discretion of the board founder for meritous service. 1C)NEW25 June 2007 [JCS award]: For members who also have their own forums or websites and have chosen to riciprocate links with us 1D [Chaplains award] Denotes service as Forum Senior or Lieutenant Chaplain. 2) [staff service award] The ribbon automatically awarded upon becoming a Staff member on this board. 3) [patriots award] The ribbon for Starting and / or posting topics consistently in one of the military threads. 3A) NEW[23 November 2007] [Allied Patriot award] For members who post consistently within the Allied forces area and assist us in providing information on what our allies are doing or have done in the past to assist America in achieving victory over our enemies 4) [Top recruiters award]   For any member that successfully recruits new members to the forum. 5). [moderators award] The ribbon awarded to past and current Moderators of this board. 5A)NEW25 June 2007 [M.S.T. Poolee award]: For those selected to train as Potential new members of the M.S.T. 5B.)NEW29 July 2007 M.S.T. [reserve corps award] For those that wish to help moderate the forum but cannot commit to full time duty they serve on the reserve corps team of the M.S.T. 6) Membership Support Team award [M.S.T.] Members that are selected for the Membership Support Team automatically earn this award 7) Command  advisors[C/A] both SR and LT  award For past or serving members of the command staff advisors team. *Subsequent awards for multiple tours or serving in SR& LT capacities* 8) [Administrators award] 8A)*NEW*{1 December 2007} {Admin Commendation award}[*Replaces normal Admin award in rack] Admins who show extra ordinary dedication to this forum can earn the commendation award 9) [Forum Commandant] For past and serving Forum Commandant service[Staff Commandant svc ONLY]*Subsequent awards for multiple tours or svc in both LT & SR capacities* 10) [Dedicated member award] Awarded once a member has successfully been a member here for one year and a subsequent award for each additional year thereafter 11) [OCM AWARD] The ribbon for Outstanding Contributions by a Member. 11A) [Fallen members award] For any registered member that has contributed in any way to this forum but has passed away. *NOTE on this award* This is the only award you can receive without posting the normal required 25 posts but, really I don't think this is one that you would really want to earn. It is only here to denote that a member has passed away and for no other reason or purpose. 11B) [Board Founders award] For those that have been with the forum since the very beggining and are part of the board founders club. 11C) ["Special Ops" award] For those that are accepted to the "Special Ops team" 12) [Forum honor award] The ribbon for being a dedicated member for a period of not less than 3 years with no warnings issued for rule violations or other infractions.   Reason? Moderators, Administrators and Commandants may come and go; but dedicated members are the heart of any forum. [Special thanks Doc McKelvie for creating the original order of precedence for these awards] These Ribbons if displayed MUST be in the proper order. They are from left to right. The highest precedent should ALWAYS be on the left of the tier and the lowest on the right each tier is to contain no more than 3 ribbons each. when a 4Th is earned it should go top center of the tier below it After a member earns 4 ribbons I will take the images and have them converted to one image as mine are done then I[or another administrator will place the image in your Sig line for you. You have the option of removing them if you don't want to display your awards but I strongly discourage it as the ribbons are a vital part of the forum theme. NOTE* Your forum awards take precedence over any other images or text in your sig lines Vets wishing to display thei military service awards may do so I ask only that you place them to the right of your forum awards or below them. If asked I can merge your service awards with your forum awards into one image side by side divided so as not to confuse other members. Smitty currently has his this way see his sig for an example..Added 1 December 2007 However I leave that decision up to the individual member as per their preferences. You can see who the present members are on the board founders list by going to groups drop down window click board founders club and the group info will open up and will show you who all is currently in the group and what it takes to be added yourself. Remember we are still a very young board on the net and there is still room for expansion. Just because the group is currently closed does not mean that you cannot be added to the group if you have met certain expectations and the current members feel that you qualify. I have changed it it coincide with this "medal" The medal was created by taking the Navy Cross medal and removing the cross then adding the Forum seal and manipulating the colors a touch. The new forum honor award as it will appear in your award racks looks like this image below *NOTE* The requirements for earning this award has NOT changed you may view the requirements in the awards list above. When you earn the forum honor award for your awards rack you may opt to display the medal as an avatar or in your sig line. Remember if you earn the FHA you are in the top echelon of all members and should be recognized as such. We are still a touch over two years away from the first issues of the FHA so this is just preliminary information which is subject to change before 29 May 2009 but I will make any ammendments well known as best I can. We have newly updated awards These are our 3rd version since we began this forum a year ago. Currently ALL racks are still showing the previous awards but over the next few days I will start updating everybody to the updated awards. There are slight differences in color and size variables in the updated awards but to me they still look nice and quite honestly much more professional and  more realistic looking as well. If you have not reviewed the awards list yet please scroll up to the first post in this thread and do so. For you Senior members go up and check out our new awards you will start seeing these in your sig lines soon. Starting in order of seniority until I've gone through everyone currently holding awards. From the newest member on the roster all the way up the chain to the founder. True I set the boards up and maintain the functions but I cannot do it all myself. Your taking the initiative to use your talents to create these new ribbons signifies what I've said from day 1 of the life of this forum which is "leadership by example" Not everybody has the talents or resources to create things like that so your stepping in and doing it shows that you DO NOT have to be high up the chain of command to offer your skills and talents that will help make this forum the best that it can be. To everyone else here I'd like to say that even if you have not creative talents at all that is okay. Your active participation here helps more than you could imagine.
