I'm sure there were no Rebel soldiers awarded the MOH for actions during the Un civil war anyway. I reserve the right to be wrong in that belief.. 'AHEAM, MICHAEL Rank and organization: Paymaster's Steward, U.S. Navy. Enlisted in: France. G.O. No.: 45, 31 December 1864. Citation: Served on board the U.S.S. Kearsarge when she destroyed the Alabama off Cherbourg, France, 19 June 1864. Carrying out his duties courageously, PmS.
