ACTION prevented injury to suspect, officer. AUTHOR: OFFICER CHRIS WEISNER               HIGH POINT POLICE DEP.   I am Chris Weisner, a High Point police officer. Last Thursday, I was involved in a foot chase in the 1700 block of N. Main Street near State Avenue.   The foot chase involved having to subdue the suspect in the middle of the southbound lane of N. Main Street.   To the good citizen who took his pickup and blocked traffic, I want to extend my gratitude and thanks.   In blocking traffic, this person prevented possible injury or death to the suspect and myself.   By the time I had removed ourselves from the roadway, this driver was gone. I say thanks  again to this driver, and he should know that his good deed did not go unnoticed! I say thank you also good citizen for helping one of our local finest. Thank you officer Weisner for being out there doing what you do the best you know how, laying your life down for the citizens of our fine city.     _________________ Staff Moderator Company XO   M.S.T.
