The author is unknown so if you know please tell me so proper credit can be given Let's say I break into your house A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!!  It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV. Her point: Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.  I've done all the things you don't like to do.  I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house). According to the protesters: You are Required to let me stay in your house You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan You are Required to Educate my kids You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family (my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself.  I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house And what a deal it is for me!!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior. Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you to learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me. Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America . if you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of  it. I am going a little O/T but in the context of her example: Here in GA and I believe FLA... if you break in my house... I am gonna shoot you. I won't go to jail, because you broke into my house and I was fearing for my life. Your family will not sue me and win, because I was protecting myself. I do own a firearm license and I can carry and conceal. Btw, if your family sues me, I'm going to counter sue you because I have found out I'm a minority. I'm a white female, and have learned that I will stoop to play the game by the rules made by others. In Kennesaw, GA it is law that you will have a firearm in your home. Their crime rate is almost nil. (I don't live in Kennesaw, that is where the rich people live. These people will protest the harsh ways of the government but when they are subjected to the same standards that they themselves campaign for, they don’t want to play any more, funny hey. Like in the US we have people who believe people from other nations (nations that just happen to have a large faction believing in fundamentalist Islam) can come and go when the please and when the authorities try to imprison these people as they HAVE committed a crime, the authorities are labelled fascists. When will these so called enlightened few realise that not only do illegal immigrants pose a threat to national security (their own security) but the health risks then run by crossing the boarder; do I even have to mention the economic factors of having illegal working is positions that belong to citizens! They sooner these people realise that illegal immigration is wrong; the country (both ours and yours) can take a step in the right direction in securing our future. Don’t you think it is somewhat of a joke when we are fighting a war on terror to eliminate terrorists and to stop future atrocities like 9/11, yet we allow who knows how many people go un checked across our boarder. _________________ Commander 1st class Special Ops

Yes I do and so do many of my fellow American's but it seems are politicians as always are playing the so-called Pollitical correctness" card over and over as long as we don't exclude the poor,poor illegals then the PC crowd and ACLU don't drag out the race card and start suing the crap out of people trying to protect our way of life as we've known it all of our lives. We have pretty much the same problem here. We have groups who are banging on about legal rights of illegal immigrants. The PC crowd are starting to do more harm to us than Al Qada is at the moment. We are taking two steps forward in Afghanistan and all around the world yet here at home we take one step back. I can’t begin to explain how frustrating it is. If this is construed as racists or insensitive well, deal with it. We have hundreds of thousands of legal citizens (who in population ratio comparison would probably be the same as the US) who live on the streets whilst illegal immigrants live in relative comfort. They get the latest appliances such as X Boxes and the like. Am I the only one who thinks this is just unfair! We have people who want to work but don’t have homes or a platform in which to gain an education yet we spend millions each year providing comforts for these illegal. I am sorry but this is just down right slack. We are leaving our own countrymen behind in order to conform to the idiotic PC world. Has this thought ever occurred to these people like the ACLU and the like? Have they for one moment realized that despite the good intentions they are placing the welfare of their own country second and criminals (yes they are criminals) first. I for one think it is a D*** shame there are people living on the streets, people that need help as O.S. and his family, children starving, in bad health and the government turns their sorry A*** to help some one that does not belong here legally. I say take their rights to vote themselves wage increases, retirement plans, put them on S.S and use their money to help the really citizens of this land we call home. This all stems from PC, these people who believe that everything has to be catered to be sound for everyone at the loss of free speech and numerous other freedoms is just going way out of control. I am really sick of illegal immigrants who have no respect for our laws using them, the laws they choose to disobey by travelling here illegally in attempt to gain the benifits that hard working honest citizens strive for. I believe that if you are an illegal immigrant, you should be immediately deported back to their initial point of origin by the same means they snuck into our country in the first place and they can take that PC crowd with them.
