Swindle sheets are the log books that ALL commercial drivers have to keep daily to show what they've done that day.
The driver is required to keep an accurate log of his/her activities for a minimum of 8 days [unless it has changed in the 2 1/2 years I've been out of the loop].
Now lets see who can tell us what "Chicken coupes" are
And how they effect trucking?

These are the ones that I remember

3-Skate board is a flat bed truck
5-Hammer lane is the fast lane, sometimes its the far left lane,
or passing lane.
6-Granny lane. Right lane also called the slow lane.

1-not sure but I think it is a chicken hauler
2-a cow hauler
4-Stick hauler-a lumber or wood hauler
7-Ratchet Jaw-some one who is just running off at the mouth on CB

Now what are these?
1-Alligator
2-Dry Box
3-Portable Parking Lot
4-Bucket Mouth
5-Sesame Street
6-Lot Lizzard

Yup most of those are still in use with a few modifications..
State troopers are more commonly reffered to now days as "Full grown bears"
Patches, the only one you sort of missed was Stick hauler though you ARE partialy correct.
The most common refference to stick haulers today are furniture haulers [don't ask why because I can't tell you]

Alligator= a piece of blown tires laying in the road [they WILL bite]
Dry box= Non refrigerated trailer
Portable parking lot= Car hauler
Bucket mouth= usually someone that uses foul language freely["potty mouth"
Seame street= CB channel 19
Lot lizzard= truck stop whores Shocked
Here is one I bet few if any will know
What is a Pre trip "modulation verification" and why would it be used?

Heh, Ok anybody else wanna try?
Tell you what the one who gets it right I will give them 250 points [not post count but point count]
I'll give you a hint:
A "pre trip Modulation verification" pertains to something most all truckers use on the road [and no the steering wheel has NOTHING to do with it Shocked ]
So what is it and why would you need one?

Uh Nope Shocked
So a "Pre trip modulation verification" is the long form of asking for a radio check for your CB to be sure that it is transmitting properly.
It is NOT anything official or required but it is common language amongst truckers nowa days.
I have nothing new for this post.

I can't believe Outsider pulled out the old "Pre trip Modulation verification"
Shocked I tell you afsp90_02 the first time I ever heard that one he and I had taken our break and right after we finished doing our pre trips before pulling out he yells at me over the CB and says " Hey Smitty" Before we go give me a pre trip modulation verification"
dunno I asked him WTF is that?
He just laughed and said "Well at least I know this radio is transmitting anyway"
I thought "Kripes Al mighty been out here at that point 25 years and had never heard that one before"
Now I hear it at least once a week, guess he started that one all on his own.
Patches  those are too easy,
Wiggle wagons" are those trucks that have the two pup trailers and the back one tends to sway from one side to the other hence the term "Wigle wagon"
Salt shacker:
The trucks that spread salt on the roads when it snows
City kitty:
City cop or little bear with BIG dreams
Down stroke:
Shifting gears down to a lower gear
At your back door:
Right behind you
Kojack with a kodack:
Covered above but still the same
usually a cop  with a radar
--------------------------------------------
Now my turn what are these?
Barn doors
Single screw
In coming Car catcher

Ah old man you're just mad because I posted it before you did Shocked Actually I only posted that because I figured you would check in from the road and be like Horeshack on Welcome back cotter
But you missed that one my friend.
Better luck next time
------------------------------------
Barn Doors:
The  doors on the back of trailers that have swinging doors.
They swing open much like a barn door does

Single screw: Much like a ship that has only one propeller
Some trucks have only one set of drive tires instead of two

In coming car catcher:
Officially known as an ICC bumper which is the little bumper you see on trailers and they do just as the nickname implies they catch in coming cars that can't see the truck has stopped or slowed down for traffic.

LOL it wasn't hard I've just been away since this past Wednesday so have not seen it.
Seat covers are usually in reference to a set of legs occupying the seat of a passing vehicle
