I'll take a stab but I'm not really much of a history buff.
I want to say that maybe 2 of them are the USS Yorktown and USS Lincoln. I'm not sure but I remember seeing the one dock back close to the first part of the war and watching President Bush welcoming them home, know it brought tears to my eye.
Not sure on other points but I'll do some searching. |

Great job everybody that participated in this challlenge!!! Remember these are here to help your post count get a good boost but we do require minimum research effort on your part. As you see I did not participate this week due to real life issues that had to be taken care of. I had planned on posting my answers yesterday but I got tied up cleaning my girls room that Mrs. O has been after me to do for two weeks or better.
By the time I got done I was schnackerd out I took my shower and hit the rack for some much deserved rest.
The Mrs can be a real when she needs something done LOL. _________________ <table border="0" bordercolor="#F6FCFD" width="1" bgcolor="#F6FCFD">

Thanks afsp90_02.
These are kind of hard for me, but I do enjoy them. I planned on having my answers in earlier, but I just had to take a leave for a few days. :(
I'm not good at the web stuff, so I learn new things as well when doing them!
Thanks again :)

"Mrs. O" you are excused ma'am I know what happened, no explanation needed. But I think you do quite well with the trivia and everything to do with this forum, so no problem...

Appreciate you afsp! You surely do bring a lot here!
I meant every word of it. I learn a lot ... about the web & history :) I've never been good at either stuff, so it's nice.
