I do, I do. ConGlom isn't quite the same, yet, though the move to spring instead of competing with GenCon probably is for the best.

I went to all but two of the Rivercon's. I was at the first and last convention. I moved to San Diego, Ca in 1997, and still was able to catch the two last ones. It was a well run convention, and had many interesting panels. It also had a really good dealer's room (something that mostly doesn't exist in West Coast Conventions).
Since moving out here, I usually go to LosCon up in LA over the Thanksgiving holiday. It's also really well run, the difference being is the JPL and Hollywood influences. What's interesting is thay have a photo gallery, and both Steve and Sue Francis's photos are included.
