Beautiful male enters the room
Glances shoot back and forth
Eye contact caught in between
Releasing dangerous explosives
Legs begin to quiver, aching
Begging him to take control
Across the room unknowing
The lovely human approaches
Scents of lust enticed him
Waving him forward to her
Both having no control
Their bodies took over
With her eyes she longs
One touch from his hand
Brush up against her
Placing his scent upon her
Mingling through the crowd
Contact has been made
Immediate fireworks
His hand upon her shoulder
Oh how she loves this man
Everything about him
Makes her weak
Catch her for she’ll fall
Holding her in his strong embrace
Allowing their love to communicate
Lips and tongues becoming one
Marking their territory.

I usually use that phrase, "marking their territory," in a negative way. Usually when I'm out and about and see some insecure guy trying to make it know that the woman with him is his girlfriend. But you've used it in a positive, which is interesting. _________________ "Everything changes, but nothing is truly lost" |

Yah this is very positive. Not as in being territorial likened to jealousy (not me one bit) but more of a referrence to 'mingling' body fluids becoming one allowing each of the two to 'mark their territory'.
Thanks for the reply Morph-ine!! _________________ "A muse can never hide everything, they're bound to spill over.

Good idea:the physical act and the emotional bond as 'marking territory.' Again, enjoyed the positive spin on the phrase. _________________ "Everything changes, but nothing is truly lost" |

territorial a bit of animalistic passion in this, but hidden in a gentle way. much like a mantis would do. a composition worth a second look any day.
