When I was in high school I was a veritable movie fiend.  Generally speaking I'd see, at the very least, one movie in the theaters every weekend, if not two.  I knew exactly what was coming out every weekend, and I'd be waiting to see movies for months, sometimes years ahead of time.

So far in 2007 I think I've seen maybe six or seven movies in the theater.  It's not that I couldn't find the time for them, I'm just usually otherwise occupied, and when I do have time I'd rather read or relax at home than go out and blow 2-3 hours on a movie.

So what have you guys given up or lost interest in as you've got older?  Or shall we say 'grown up,'  it's a less offensive term!  Laughing

reading.... i would much rather watch a movie then read the book.  I find it less of a let down to just watch the movie then spend hours reading a book and looking forward to the movie only to find the movie doesn't live up to the book.

I never understand that whole "oh, the book was so much better than the movie."

Any time a movie is based on a book it seems like someone says that.  Most of the time if I read the book and see the movie, I enjoy both. (Or dislike both, as the case may be).

Mine would be dancing Sad I danced so much in high school and was up on the latest dance moves, practicing constantly.

You wouldn't think so, but I'm starting to have the gray hairs that suggest otherwise!  Confused
