"The Faces"
A nation dies
A person hopes
A child cries
A widow copes
A baby is born
A woman laughs
An old one mourns
A husband sighs
These I see
The faces
In the mirror. _________________ The freedom to think is the most precious gift we have. |

Awesome piece here Hugs. I was always partial to the shorter writings anyways. They can say so much in a few meaningful words. I think you've pretty much summed up life in itself. Nice!

I agree with Liquid, shorter poems tend to pack a concentrated punch! _________________ "Everything changes, but nothing is truly lost" |
