The wondrous beauty
of what the naked eye
can visualize, so many
Yet, so little
give recognition
Her eye then blinks
Appearing before her
Marvelous creations
Colors of warm jewels
Hues of yellows
orange and reds
all combined
lying over another
Each layer so intricate
The veins well defined
All suspending
from their place
Soon to descend
to their destined
resting place
Her mind wanders
It fades
to a place as this
To lay free
To think clear
To have her smile
reappear
So happy is she
Never to leave
Only to get carried away
in all the beauty
all the warmth
surrounding her
Yet with a cool breeze
as it rushes
through her body
feeling content
To take a moment and notice
is all she wants
What she would give
to admire these beauties
To stand there
arms wide open at her side
her head slightly tilted back
eyes closed
smile upon her face
with the wind blowing
through her hair
so lightly
She then begins to turn, slowly
continues to spin
thinking nothing but how it feels
to be where she is right now
How the splendor of her ability
to see and notice how special
the least of things are
The ones most people
take for granted
That they will be around
day after day
No conscience of it at all
She imagines herself there
in the park she described
Upon the green grass
so green it reminds her
of sparkling emeralds
Freshly cut
even able to smell
the sweet dew upon it
from early morning
To be surrounded
by these magnificent
trees
The ones that shower us
with those colors of warmth
Yellows of the eccentric sun
Feeling the glow
of the topaz colored orange
As well as the shimmering
that gleams from the red
so brilliantly
How it shines
as a true ruby does
Yes, such as these
So small
So wondrous
and so touching
in her mind
Are what make
the essence
of her heart.

wow this is a splendid piece. reminded me of the sun set. as the colors fade away only to slowly return upon the sunrise. a beauty so often overlooked.
