That whole game was total bullshit. TJ Houchmanzada pushing a ravens player after the play. No flag, if a ravens player did that he would be kicked out of the game and fined. Todd Heaps pass interference that never happened. The make up holding call on the Bengals 1 play later. The interception that clearly hit the ground. You know its pretty bad when the announcers say they refs are doing bad.

Yea you're right. That game was a total disaster. I was gonna start a topic about it but I lost track of all the botched calls. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the game called by everybody's favorite ref, Walt Coleman?

You're not the only ones who saw that.  I got an email from someone....

"Don't know what influence web page may have, but some one needs to bring to NFL attention the two  pass interference calls made at the end of Balt. -Cin. game.
Seems as if ref. messed up the first one and did a make up call. Looked " hokey" whatever he was doing.
Might start beating up on these guys instead of the players.
Need to know too, I don't really like either of these teams, so no bias involved. just bad calls."

I think Coleman had the Niners- Cards matchup.

In addition to the ones mentioned above, here's a couple more bad calls in the Ravens - Bengals game.  Actually bad no-calls:

2nd quarter Ravens at the Bengals 18.  McNair pass to Williams in the end zone.  Deltha O'Neal is on Williams back with his left arm around the front of Williams.  Defensive pass interference in the end zone?  Of course not!!  Just good tight coverage.

3rd quarter Ravens 3rd and long in their own territory.  McNair sideline pass to Heap who goes up, the ball deflects off his hands and he comes down at least a yard out of bounds.  After he comes down and starts to turn back to the field, he's hit helmet first by a Bengal defender and knocked into the bench.  Unsportsmanlike conduct for spearing or hitting out of bounds?  No way, just good aggressive play by the Bengals.  On the ensuing punt, the Bengal returner runs out of bounds at almost the exact same spot, gets hit by a Raven and the yellow lingerie was flying.

It seems obvious to me that there was a double standard in effect for this game.

Received this via email...

The other week, during the Baltimore VS Cincinnati Monday Night game, the Ravens scored a touchdown (Boller to Heap) to make it 27-26, with a chance to tie on the extra point.  However, the referees decided that it was "offensive pass interference" even though it was clear that no such interference happened.  That moved the Ravens back 10 yards.  The next play, the Ravens miss the pass  on 4th down and they call a nonexistent defense holding penalty, with an automatic first down.  Then Boller is intercepted shortly thereafter and the Ravens end up losing the game that they were about to tie with 2 minutes or so to go.
