| How does a 5 yd celebration penalty AFTER THE PLAY offset a 5 yd offsides penalty? I thought this was covered in Officiating 101. |

There is nothing I hate more than this rule. Why is not the same as all the other post play fouls???
So the team that jumps offside gets an advantage!
What happens if you run 95 yards and spike the ball on the five yard line and get this call? But the other team goes offside. You go back 95 yards and do the play over????
What the heck is this?
Why can the team not decline the offside and have the play stand and the 5 yards be removed from the end of the play???
It is not even complicated and it makes sense. |
