Lets set up a caravan heading that way!

Well, since there is no response, including from Jon *although I know he is going* I guess this will be a very very short caravan.

Ken and I aren't going to be able to make it to the Bash this year.  I believe we are going up in August.

Sorry, I am going to be in Michigan, and Ken says it is no fun driving around by himself.

Time is getting closer, Ken you will have people to hang with, or ride around with.

Anyone else who is thinking of going, I urge you to attend.  It is fun, informative and nice to be around so many Vettes and owners.

Also if you have never been to the NCM, wow!

Well, back home from the Bash.  Great fun!  Jon, Frank, Fred, William (Johnson) and uhmm someone else, lets see...

Oh yeah!  Andy and Alina!  Just kidding, you know I could not forget you!

We did an unveiling of the club brick, you can see pictures on the club homepage.  Brick looks great and is in a great location.  All personalized bricks were not yet in place, but they are working on it.

Lots of information out about the 2008 models.  Please refer to the Corvette Museum page or Corvette Forum or Digital Corvettes.  Rick Conti has some decent info as does Ken Fitchner.

Ron Fellows and Johnny O'Connell did the normal routine guaranteed to crack everyone up.  Ron obviously is very touched at the deep feelings all the racing fans have at him giving up the full time ride, and Johnny seemed to be rather sad by the fact.  On that note, I heard a rumour at the Bash, Pilgrim will be back in Corvettes, and he and Ron are going to run as a 3rd team, not full time, but great to see Ron running at least a little more.

Too all that missed it, sure wish you had been there!

Very Happy

Fun trip!  Great group of RTP'ers to travel with.  Always great to get out to the museum.  Got to talk to Vette engineers about the car.  How may other cars have that available.  The '08 manual transmission has been upgraded and you can really feel the difference.  Smooth!  Frank and I had rain on the way out, but for yesterday's return trip the weather was about as good as it gets.  Anthony was top down the whole way back.
