Pirates 3 blew? I thought it was highly enjoyable. 
But yeah, Spiderman 3, what the hell were they thinking? Sam Raimi needs to find a hole and bury himself in it and never ever come out again.

In Raimi's defense, he apparently had a completely different thought for the movie, initially. I WAS going to deal with Sandman, and in a similar fashion, but there was to be no Venom. I guess the whole thing with Harry was in there initially as well.
As for Pirates, it's one of the few movies that I afree with people about it being too long -- nad it seemed like they cut a whole lot out of it as it was. It was better, to me, than the second one, but it didn't even come close to the first one. It just didn't have that feel that I had hoped for ever since the first one.
Next up is Harry Potter, which will be on the 11th.
Hatter -- I'm pretty much sure we're the only two that pop in here at this point...what happened?! |

Didn't see Pirates or Transformers though- YET! I did however see everything else. I have to say that this years has really started out strong in movies. I'd dare say that is the best year for movies for a long time.

Just off the top of my head, 300 and Grind House are immediate and exceptional standouts. I'll maybe post a detailed list later.

Granted, 300 kicked ass. But one exceptional movie does not a good year make.
I haven't seen Grindhouse yet, but I've been hearing good things about it. Maybe I'll give it a little lookie-loo.
