It seems that Gate Guardians tend to be quick at noticing when things don't quite add up. Of course being the ones who take care of the interplanetary gates, I wouldn't want them to be the dimmest bulbs in the pack.
Ten looks like he will be an interesting character. Can't wait till the next one.

Having smart people can be nice if you need to move plot along.  I'm glad you like Ten, it's nice to finally have a male element in the strip. I look forward to doing more with the whole Gate Guardian thing as we go.

On the subject of gate guardians, go Tetra! Although it might be better if she was willing to ask for help, it seems like she's used to people underestimating her.

Actually, Tetra's First Guardian, not a Gate Guardian. I did enjoy drawing that part of the story. I think Tetra's a little more used to Ten underestimating her than she is people in general. First Guardian isn't an inherited title like Gate Guardian, it's earned.

Oooo, interesting! Now I'm wondering if all Gate Guardians are as on top of things as Ten is. If it's inherited, it seems like some might not be up to their job. And I thought I remembered Tetra mentioning to Crystal at the beginning that someone like her superior was gone, so if she's First, what does that make her superior.
