The other day I had an amusing thought pop into my head, so I decided to make it into a Fic and share it with y'all.

Don’t Disturb Tails’ Beauty Sleep.

Chick a dee dee dee. “Ungh.” Came the response to the noise from a golden blond furred kitsune on *her bed. **Melissa “Tails” Prower had been trying to get some beauty sleep after a night of guard duty… Chick a dee dee dee. And all she heard for the last half an hour was that god d** chickadee just outside her open window. The young vixen sighed and settled down once the noise finally stopped. After just a minute she was nearly back to sleep. Chick a dee dee dee. Tails snarled as she jumped up from her bed, her fur bristling, her teeth bared showing off her large canine fangs, her eyes blood shot and pupils dilated, her claws fully extended. The sight of this would have made Shadow flinch. Chick a dee dee dee. “How should I deal with that f***ing bird.” She asked herself. Her stomach growled in response, and she tilted her head to one side an insane grin spreading across her face.

Slowly the two-tailed predator reached out the window, careful so not to frighten her prey. Chick a dee dee- As quickly as she’d snatched it, the blond furred carnivore had placed the small bird in her mouth and swallowed. “There…” Tails said moving back to lye down her bed. The kitsune closed her eyes and relaxed once again. “Lets hear you chirp off now… Smart a** bird…” Chick A dee dee dee. Came a muffle response. “For Christ's sake!” Tails yelled jumping up again. “You really don’t know when to shut the f*** up do you?” she yelled at the bird in her stomach. She received a rustling movement in her stomach as a response.

“This’ll fix that smart a** bird.” said Tails as she took her largest glass and started filling it with cold water from the sink. As she drank the water, the bird thrashed about in her stomach. With in a few moments of drinking the icy water the thrashing started to slow until it stopped all together. “Finally I can have some peace.” the kitsune said laying back down on her bed and closing his eyes. With in minutes the vulpine had drifted off to sleep.

Quietly a blue hedgehog snuck into the kitsune’s hut. He must have pulled this prank on her a hundred times, and it never got old. Sonic smirked when he reached the end of Tails’ bed. “RAAAIIIIID!” Normally, Tails would react by screaming or flinching, one time she even managed sit up and smack her head on the landing gear of the Freedom Storm. This time around though, the vixen had been sound asleep with her hand under her pillow resting on her ten-millimeter automatic pistol, issued to her when she joined the Freedom Fighters. The smirk disappeared from Sonic’s face when he found himself staring down the barrel of said pistol. “Whoa Tails! Chill! Chill… it’s me… Sonic!” Tails growled and lowered to the nightstand next to her bed. “What are you doing in my hut Sonic? Do you get some type of sick thrill from spying on me while I sleep?” asked Tails. “No… I just thought that since it’s such a nice day I’d com wake you up… get you out for some exercise.” Sonic replied. “Oh… so I’m fat!” Sonic’s brow furrowed. “No… I just wanted to hang out with my buddy Tails.” “Buddy? Is that what I am? Just another one of the guys? Nothing sexy about me at all?” Tails spat. “Well…” Sonic shrugged. “Yeah…” The vixen growled again. She was just going to torture him with the usual female bitchiness for waking her, but now he’d just dug his own grave. “Sonic… come here.” Tails demanded. Sonic swallowed a lump in his throat. He didn’t like her tone or the look she was giving him nor the fact that she’d growled at him, but never the less he obeyed.

Sally just made it to the door of Tails’ hut. The chipmunk had seen Sonic walking towards Tails hut. Having seen the teenage vixen earlier that morning, the tomboy princess knew that Tails was very tired, in a foul mood and wanting to catch up on her sleep today. She knew that if Sonic were to disturb her all hell would break loose; therefore, she was hoping to catch Sonic before he woke the sleeping dog… fox. The sounds of barking and Sonic yelling told Sally that she was already too late. She just barely made it out of the way as a blue hedgehog came bolting out of the front door, followed by an enraged fox who stopped just out the door and spit a large chunk of blue fur on the ground. “Next time I’ll just pull the d** trigger! Then we’ll all be rid of your stupidity!” Tails called after Sonic from her porch. “What?” the kitsune asked when she saw Sally and several other village residents staring at her. Sally sighed. “Never mind…” she said before walking away.

Tails walked back into her bedroom and collapsed onto her bed. “Maybe I'll finally be able to…” she trailed off before falling asleep. Ten minutes later the vixen’s ear twitched as it picked up a rustling noise from outside her window. Chick a dee dee dee. “God d** it!”

*Yes "her". Tails is a female in this story. Consider it as an alternate reality.
**Lets say Tails name was supposed to be "Melissa", but the nurse in the birthing room mistakenly wrote "Miles" on her birth certificate and it was never fixed.
