What did you like / dislike about The Saint episode "The Master Plan"? Share most memorable moments from the episode, its characters and actors.  :smt001

I like this episode. The conversation between the bad guy and Simon about Chinese canned veggies was hilarious.
I didn't see any chemistry between the girl and the Saint, but that's okay because he was only helping her find her brother, and it was nice for a change to see Simon work with a woman on an important project without any romantic involvement.
One part I never understand lol-why do bad guys feel comfortable offering the Saint a job in their organization when they should know the Saint by reputation, that he would never work for something like that, especially under pressure? The end was the only part of this episode I didn't care for.

One scene stood out for me, in a "What??" situation.

Simon and the girl were locked inside a room, and there was a lever in the corridor outside that was used to open their door. Simon noticed the girl was wearing a chunky bead necklace, so he borrowed it, and it somehow turned into a solid rod, that he used to move the lever in the corridor and set them free.

LOL, he pushed the beads all to one side, so the rod became more rigid. But I remember when watching the episode that it surprised me that the rod became strong enough to move the lever. Either the lever was flimsy or the beads were exceptionally strong. But I prefer to think that the Saint's strong grip was the reason.
