What did you like / dislike about The Saint episode "The Russian Prisoner"? Share most memorable moments from the episode, its characters and actors.  :smt001

I loved this one, great fast moving story, interesting characters, and plenty of action and suspense.

It was a big change to see Yootha Joyce playing a baddie. She was later to star in two long running hit tv sit-coms, a great comedy actress she was too. She knew Roger from way back, when they shared a class at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art together.

Also in the pic is Tony Booth, he appeared in a couple of "Saints" and later on he was to become the father-in-law of British Prime Minister Tony Blair.









While watching this episode again, I noticed a glaring continuity mistake, and couldn't understand how it wasn't noticed by production staff - and even Roger! Has anyone else spotted it?  :smt003 I'll give you the answer very soon!

Ok, here's a clue, something to do with what Simon was wearing in a certain couple of scenes.

Give in ?

Ok, Simon in this scene with  Irma: He looked at the house across the lake, picked up a bag containing a wetsuit to wear while swimming the lake, and said goodby to her. He was wearing a black top.



By the time Simon had reached the other side of the lake and  taken off his wetsuit, his top had mysteriously turned into a pale green one! He ran through the trees, hiding from a security man, to gain entry to the house, still wearing green.



Within moments, Simon had found his way into the house, but now we see that he is wearing his black top once again. Oops!
