I enjoyed this one very much! I thought Roger's interaction with those orphan children was spot on, especially with the main boy character.  The  Italian taxi driver was great - didn't he also appear in "King of the Beggars?"

Connie, what did you think about Marco's, the taxi driver, behaviour in this episode compared to the others he was in? (He was also in "The Latin Touch" besides the other you mentioned above.) I thought he was a little cruel at first in his talk about the little boy orphan, almost sounded as if he was blaming the poor kid for being in the streets and telling Simon not to be nice to him.

I must say about Marco De Cesare (the cab driver) I thought he was amusing, and although he started off being mean to Franco, I think he grew to like him in the end.

I really like the character of Marco, I thought he was very funny. There was another Italian cab driver in another episode whose name I don't remember, but he wasn't as funny as Warren Mitchell playing Marco I think. :smt001

I also think RM's (ST's) role was good, because as we know RM is now a UNICEF ambassador and this episode may have helped to inspire him to be so.

I agree Goodnight007.2, I really liked Marco.

I wonder if anyone can help me out here... There was another b/w  "Saint" where Simon got hold of a large amount of money. I think the story was set in South America? Simon was stopped at the airport by a chief of police,  before boarding a plane. He was told he could keep the money and was asked what he was going to do with it. Simon replied that he was giving it to UNICEF.

Which episode was this from?

Was it "Revolution Racket"?
