one of my favorite episodes. the actor who played brett's cousin was a famous comedien and appeared in many movies and series.

I always enjoy seeing Brett's wacky relatives. His cousin in this episode was an unlikely ally, yet funny and helpful to the two boys in their adventure. I liked it!

I agree, this story had great comedy timing. I love the scene where Brett was being rescued from the embassy by his cousin and Danny, only he didn't seem keen to go as he was  just getting aquainted with a young lady.

Hi Solitaire, I'll post more pics from "The Persuaders" very soon. Here's some from "The Man In The Middle." I love Terry-Thomas who plays cousin Archibald. I've seen him in several movies, he's always very funny.

In "The Man In The Middle" story is set in Italy. Judge Fulton asks Brett to act as a British spy and pretend he has important information for sale. There is a mix up and now the British secret service are after him. Bretts troublesome cousin Archibald arrives at the same hotel as he and Danny. A female British agent called Kay realises Brett is innocent, but in the meantime Brett is captured and taken to their embassy. Danny and Archibald break into the embassy to rescue him, but find that an attractive woman is trying to get him to talk by plying him with champagne and kissing him. Brett says "Do you want to work on me some more?" Very funny scenes follow with them escaping. Then Kay is captured and the captors want to exchange her for the man who has all the important secret NATO information. It is decided that Archibald will be that man. After the exchange, Brett cannot follow them as his car tyres have been burst, so he and Kay mount some ponies and ride to the rescue! Danny manages to stop Archibald being taken away in a helicopter, and all the baddies are knocked out. In the final scenes, Danny and Brett hope to persuade Kay to go on a date with them but they lose out to Archbald!

What is going on with Tony Curtis in the last pic?

Superglue I expect. I just watched this ep the other night and my fav bits of dialogue are when Danny and Brett are in that shack for want of a better word and the baddies are shooting at them and they are shooting back and they are argueing about who shot who first etc. V funny. Also the look on Brett's face when he hears Archie's voice in the bar is priceless.
