As much as I like both the Saint and Persauders music themes I really feel that the John Barry tune didnt quite fit the Persuaders but instead would have been a perfect match for the Saint! The comedic nature of the Persuaders should of had a more lighter theme ? John did a great job on it like he does on all his music...almost too good and deserved IMO a better match for the show. What would be cool is to have the Persuaders theme cued up on a player, start a Saint episode with the sound completely down, then start playing the Persuaders theme over the Saint video intro........I bet it would be interesting!

I always liked "The Persuaders" theme music, from the dramatic first notes, to how it progresses into a somehow lazy laid-back melody. A great sound.

I agree though, because of the tongue-in-cheek nature of the show, maybe it could have had a little more "bouncier" theme.

What do you think of the two themes of "The Saint?"
Both quite different from each other, the second one was more exciting, but I still prefer the original. It somehow went with Simon's character.

There were two themes in The Saint? I thought they were the same melody with a different arrangement. I like the color series theme arrangement better.

The Persuaders theme would have been good in a Bond movie.
