Hi guys,
Tony was one of the nicest guys I ever got to work with in my 32 years in the biz.

Hi Harry,

It's a pleasure to have you on Simply Moore and welcome!  :smt001 I have been reading your site and looking at the picture gallery. You have done so many interesting things and met so many celebrities. Many of the movies mentioned on your site are among our family's favourites, like "2001 Space Odyssey", "Oliver" and "The Eagle Has Landed" to name a few. All I can say is - WOW!!! Looking forward to talking more to you about your work in movies.  :smt001

Let me be the second to Welcome you to Simply Moore! The forum is certainly honored to have you here Harry and hope you stick around a long time!  As Sunny mentioned, I too am a very big fan of 2001 and watched the movie when it first appeared in Houston 1969.

Hiya guys,
Thanks for the welcome.
I remember one of my first jobs back in the 60s was on The Saint but I was so far back from the camera that I wasn't seen. :smt009

But after a few more jobs I made sure that I would be in the scene. :smt005
Tony and Roger were great to work with and I even got to do a few ''Bond'' movies.
It now seems a funny old way for a man to get a living for 32 years but I'd still do it all again.

I think its a very exciting way to make a living. What was the most memorable film you worked on? Did you get to spend much time with Roger Moore and Tony Curtis? I absolutely loved the picture of you from The Two Ronnies.  :smt003

I know what you mean, Kendall. I have always loved movies where a man dresses up as a woman in order to escape from bad guys or get something done incognito. Movies like "Tootsie" and "Some Like It Hot" are among my favourites. And of course, the episode of "The Persuaders" where Roger plays Brett's Aunt and Tony shows up at the very end also dressed up in a dress.  :smt003

People from all around the world go ''Aitch'' spotting  :smt003  and send me screen grabs from shows I worked on. (I don't know how to screen grab)
Most of the pics on my web comes from there. Someone sent me this, I'm at the back (r)

Nice screen grab Harry! Looks like if Roger had moved the guy holding the gun might have gotten you?? Of course I know it had to be blanks.......

:smt003 I think that the character Harry plays in the show is also pointing a gun at Roger. I'll watch this episode again tonight and pay better attention to the scene.

I am not good at screen captures either, have to ask my husband to take them from DVDs on his computer. But I think that whoever took this screen grab did a great job.  :smt001

We watched "Five Miles To Midnight" yesterday, and sure enough - saw you in that very scene in the picture.  :smt003 I believe you were also seen briefly during the fighting scene that followed right after that, but only from the back. Am I right or was it someone else?

Hi Sunny, I'm trying to think back thirty odd years but me and the other dressed cop ? (Lenny Piper RIP) did have other scenes outside with some cars.
I remember it was great fun :smt003  :smt003

There was a scene where several cops were running from the cars to the shack where Tony and Roger were hiding. We were trying to spot you throughout the episode, and a few times we could have sworn we saw you more than once.  :smt023 I have some of the movies you mentioned on your site in our collection. I'll have to sort through them and watch them again. "Aitch spotting" is actually a lot of fun.  :smt003

You've got me "Aitch spotting" too!

I watched an old "The Champions" show this evening, and tried to spot you - I'll keep on looking!
