Did you ever see Roger's successor,  Ian Ogilvy in  the TV series "Return of The Saint?" If so what did you think of him, in comparison to Roger?

Lots of exotic locations were used, as opposed to Roger's stint as Simon Templar, when he  would  often appear freezing in front of an imitation  palm tree, and pretend he was  somewhere like Barbados.  

Ian's "Saint"  had a more expensive look to it, and he has always reminded me a  of a younger Roger, in mannerisms and in looks, and has a certain charm too. Well, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Ian made a great attempt at re-creating Simon Templar on tv, but give me Roger's version any day.

I totally agree, Amber. I used to watch the Return of The Saint, and I thought in looks and voice IO is almost identical to Sir Roger, and I did like the show, but the original was and is always the best.
